Stalking Treecraft

As Dan and I continue to explore Colorado, we lean on the internet and recommendations from friends in order to find new places to visit. Treecraft, on the other hand, found us — their workshop is located across the street from us, and we have been watching them from our bedroom window since we moved in.

Dan found their Instagram account and I dropped a note to say hello — their founder Aaron, thankfully not too creeped out, invited us over to see the “treehouse lab” in person. Aaron and his partner Kevin (below, staining) individually custom design and craft each of the houses.

My pictures are quick and haphazard — for much more impressive shots of Aaron and Kevin’s work, check out their workshop gallery: http://www.treecraftdesignbuild.com/workshop/
Their treehouse gallery: http://www.treecraftdesignbuild.com/ (click through for details on any single treehouse, such as the Fourmile: http://www.treecraftdesignbuild.com/fourmile)
And their Instagram account:  https://www.instagram.com/treecraftdesignbuild/

It sounds as though business is booming; Treecraft is already booked out through October.

P.S. Cincinnati/NKY folks: Aaron has met Django of Canopy Crew, the team that creates the treehouses in Red River Gorge!

Hello, gorgeous.
